So, I'll decide a topic for each day, and we talk about that until then next topic comes along. haha

| That car's lush! Remember on Top Gear when they took it round the track? Without the wing it tried to kill the stig, but now, it set the record. Except for this superaerodynamic car i think beat it. And possibly the new skyline, GTR thing. Erm, my favourite car is either a Lotus Exige or a Aston Martin DB9. | |

| Dont think i can say no band deserves to be where they are, but dont like how some artists can put all there effort into music and be lost because they arent the "in" thing, but then some people produce one good/popular/"cool" song and become most amazing band ever.
Ting tings. Perfect example. Fools

| I'm going to give you an insite into the music industry. The fact is that the major companies (Sony, Columbia, Universal), currently have ultimate control over the market. Because of this, they choose who's big and when. Note Estelle (American Boy), a year ago where was she? I've seen bands work and work to try and get somewhere. Heck; Rascal Flatts (one of their tunes was covered by Cascada, What Hurts The Most), they had been on tour with other bands, recording for ten years before they were picked up. But eventually they finally were. I respect them a lot over someone who's become big through a TV Show, or the so called; sent a CD in and got signed by a huge record label. The one thing we must all remember though, is that the major recording companies aren't going to be around for much longer. We know this, they know this; that is why they're freaking out over the whole piracy thing, getting as much money in as quickly as possible, and trying to make them look like the good guys. I'd give a big company like Columbia 10 or 15 years before they start to stop. Other companies like Sony, because they have many other revenues may never stop. I will add on the band front; the ting tings only got somewhere because of one reason... and it's her - guess | |

| Hmm... Well, what I dislike about the music industry is how easy it is to get into it. One of the reasons I like music with guitars in is because in order to make that music, the guitarist has had to learn the instrument for themselves, because they wanted to be good. Then they have had to get into a band.
Then you get people who are making pop music. All they do is sing... Now, not that they don't sometimes produce music I like, and not that there aren't some singers who have talent, but to be a singer, all that really needs to happen is for you to be born with a voice that sounds good singing. The point is, there are some songs made by talentless people who have only been found because someone thinks they sound good. Perfect example - the majority of what's come out of pop idol and x-factor. Hence me liking rock music.
Some pop music is also manufactured. For example, the singer sings a song someone else has written, along to music people have whipped up just to go along with it. Whereas in a proper band, the actual music has as much feeling in it as the song, which is written by the band.
Anyway, the main reason I like rock music is, I like the sound of electric quitars. Which explains why I have one.
