The Tangle-forum NEW NAME suggestion thread

Theres nothing wrong with the choice between the two names: tangle forum and gearworx. However myself and a few other members feel that we should host a competition for the best name for the website and whichever name is most popular could be considered by the admin as a potential name for the URL.

So get posting lads and ladies (well hannah...)

Yeah, I personally think it's a good idea, as it will give a wider variation between the choices in which the members of the current Tangle-Forum will be able to pick between, it will also show the kind of names more people feel would be more appropriate?

Sweet. Ermm i think it should be called "Crankworx" sorry for stealing the "Worx" bit.


I thought of "Crank" because it would be more suitable due to the fact that a lot of trials and bmx riders do not run gears.

remember though, the URL can't be taken. We're looking at a .co.uk one. If you think of a suggestion, test it out first. If the word itself is taken, try adding -forum or something else to change it, and see if that's also taken.

How about "www.the-crankworks-forum.co.uk" this website does not already exist.

Someone would still try to sue us if we used that word though.

.co.uk is 100% the way to go.

We can't have crankworx as it's a cycle event, as Jeff said.

Bikeworx isn't, and I doubt anyone could sue us for changing the spelling.
